Welcome Class an Professor,
For this blog I'm going to talk about what it's like to be an online student. Being a online student is very much the same as going to a regular campus. But on the other hand it doose have it's differnces. For me I was a little nervous to begin classes online because I had always been in a regular class an school never online but when I moved away to Arizona with my husband It was the best option for me. However it has been a great learning experience for me. I was a little nervous because I am a vry visual learner an with online I thought I wouldn't get that. But man was I wrong. Everything about online classes is very unique an a great experience. You as a student are offered so many learning tools, an have so many people to talk to you if you have any questions or issuses with anything . Your teachers are always there not matter what the cause may be. An even though we dont get to see one another or be in a classroom we are still a close class that communicates. One thing I would say is DONT BE AFRAID TO ASK QUESTIONS!!! Cause if you ask they always lead you in the right direction, but if you dont ask you will never know. So always be aware of what your offered an give your all to school an make sure you get it done. Becasue the one the thing about online classes is that they are flexable so you can work around your own scheldule but you must make sure that you still do your school work an dont out it off.

ReplyDeleteBeing an Online Student is very different from a traditional class. There is a lot of work that occurs almost daily. I always heard of Professors that did not have time for their students. Kaplan has not showed me that. The Professors demand a lot from us and are willing to go the extra mile if you put the effort in to their work. Being afraid to ask questions at Kaplan could lead to incomplete work. Asking questions is how you grow and learn. I love the online environment and it is developed to have a maximum learning experience.

ReplyDeleteI agree about online learning. I really love it! I don't have anything to compare it to though, as this is my first college experience. I agree about asking questions. I love the professors at Kaplan. They are so helpful and want their students to succeed! They are a very dedicated staff!

ReplyDeleteThanks for the responses, I really enjoyed reading them. I myself agree that the professors are always there an never leave you behind or hanging on a limb. They really do all the can for u students an like I said before online classes have been an amazong experience for me an I love it.
